Illona Gerlock has been a licensed Denver Realtor since 1996, since her son, Dan D. Gerlock, was 5 years old. Illona and Dan sold their first home together when Dan Gerlock was only seven years old. One of Illona’s buyers had viewed over 100 properties, but still couldn’t decide which one to buy after he had narrowed it down to four, so he asked Dan which one he thought was best. Dan simply replied, “this one because it has a wet bar!” The buyer agreed with Dan and purchased the home that same day.
Illona and Dan have been partners ever since, working together as a dynamic duo. Their close relationship and love of real estate has truly molded them as friends and business partners. This is one of the main reasons why working with Gerlock Homes feels like working with good friends. Illona was a great advocate, mentor, and teacher for Dan. She guided him through his real estate licensing in 2012, and helped make him the great agent he is today.
